Central Venice has restricted vehicle access. The final road-accessible drop-off and any onward connection by water or on foot must be considered when planning your arrival.

The drive from Malpensa to Venice

The route covers about 300 km, almost entirely on the A4 motorway, with a typical journey time of 3 to 3½ hours without stops. It is often the best option when there are no convenient flights to Venice or when arriving on a long-haul flight into Milan.

Why a private transfer

By train you need at least one change between the Malpensa Express and the train to Venice, then continue on foot or by waterbus with your luggage. With a private transfer your chauffeur waits in arrivals, tracks your flight and drives you to the closest point to your accommodation, with no changes.

Stops along the way

On request you can stop in Verona, at Sirmione on Lake Garda or in Padua, turning the transfer into a day of travel.

If you require an onward water transfer, mention it when enquiring. On request we arrange a private water taxi with a trusted partner. Travel time is subject to traffic and the agreed itinerary.
