Cookie Policy
Understand your cookie choices and manage optional analytics, advertising and experience tools.

Cookies and your choices
Essential storage supports the website. Optional tools may measure visits and advertising or help improve the experience. They are disabled until you choose to allow the relevant category. You can refuse all optional tools and still browse the website and request a quotation.
The status below reflects the tools currently configured on this site. A service marked “not currently active” does not run simply because it is described here.
- Google Analytics 4 — Analytics
- Configured; loaded only after you allow this category.
- Google Ads — Advertising
- Configured; loaded only after you allow this category.
- Microsoft Clarity — Experience
- Not currently active. No requests to this service are made by this integration.
Essential storage
- elite_consent — first-party cookie
- Remembers the categories you allowed or refused, the configuration version and the time of your choice. It contains no random visitor identifier or journey details. Duration: 180 days from your latest choice. It is restricted to this website and uses SameSite=Lax and Secure on HTTPS. A material change to the configured tools requests a new choice.
- elite_cookie_notice — previous notice cookie
- Visitors who closed the earlier informational notice may still have this cookie until its original 180-day expiry. The new banner does not use it as consent to any optional tool.
- wpEmojiSettingsSupports — session storage
- WordPress may remember whether your browser supports emoji. It is technical session storage, not advertising tracking, and lasts for the browser tab session.
The enquiry form does not create cookies containing your name, email or itinerary. Its temporary anti-abuse counter and confirmation token are stored on the server.
Analytics — Google Analytics 4
If configured and allowed, Google Analytics measures page visits and successful quotation requests. The theme sends no traveller name, email, telephone number or itinerary as event parameters. Query strings are removed from the page address supplied by the integration. Browser and device information and online identifiers may still be processed by Google.
Google Analytics uses first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_*. This integration sets a 180-day expiry without automatic renewal on each visit. Consent can be withdrawn sooner. The controller’s retention settings for reports and event data are separate from the browser cookie lifetime.
Advertising — Google Ads
If configured and allowed, Google Ads can measure advertising campaigns and successful enquiry conversions and support advertising personalisation. Cookies such as _gcl_* may associate a visit or enquiry with an ad click. The integration caps its Google tag cookie expiry at 180 days without automatic renewal; individual advertising cookies may expire sooner. Google’s own services may use additional cookies under their published settings.
The theme uses basic consent mode: the Google script is not requested before the relevant permission. It does not implement enhanced conversions or send contact details to Google Ads. Accepting Analytics alone does not configure the Google Ads destination. Google Signals is disabled in this integration.

Experience — Microsoft Clarity
Clarity is an optional, separately controlled tool. If configured and allowed, it provides heatmaps and session recordings to understand how pages are used. The integration excludes the contact form page and pages with query strings, and explicitly masks the homepage enquiry form. Advertising storage is denied for Clarity.
Clarity may use _clck to remember a browser identifier and preferences and _clsk to connect page views into a session. Microsoft also documents possible service cookies on its own domains. Cookie names, durations and vendor settings must be checked against the enabled project before activation; Clarity is not currently enabled in the reviewed configuration.
See Microsoft’s cookie inventory and Microsoft’s Privacy Statement.
Change or withdraw your choice
Select Reject optional to keep only essential storage, Accept all to allow the configured optional categories, or Customise to choose individually. Unavailable categories are inactive. The website does not interpret scrolling or continued browsing as consent.
Use Cookie preferences in the footer at any time. Save new choices to withdraw consent as easily as you granted it. When a running service is disabled, the page reloads to stop its script; recognised first-party cookies on this host are removed. Withdrawal does not undo processing already carried out. You can also remove third-party cookies through your browser or the provider’s controls.
Your browser can block or delete cookies and site storage. Clearing the preference cookie will make the banner appear again. If JavaScript is unavailable, optional tools in this integration do not load.
Administration, external links and contact
WordPress login and administration may use separate authentication and preference cookies for signed-in users. These are not needed to browse the public pages. Fonts and website photographs are hosted on this website. Opening an external link, including WhatsApp, takes you to that service and its own privacy settings.
For questions about cookies, contact info@eliteprivatetransfer.com. The Privacy Policy, once published, provides the controller’s full identity, processing information and rights. General guidance is available from the Italian Data Protection Authority.
