Vehicle access in the villages is limited. Some visits require walking or connections by train or boat; these arrangements and any tickets are discussed separately.

Getting there
The Cinque Terre villages are effectively closed to traffic: your chauffeur takes you to La Spezia or Levanto, where you continue by train or boat, and waits for your return. Car access to Portofino is also limited, so visitors usually arrive via Santa Margherita Ligure.
Journey times from Venice
Liguria is about 4–5 hours from Venice, so we suggest including this tour in a trip of several days with a night on the coast.
